what's up, y'all. I'm traveling for work again, which means I'll be stuck in a hotel room tonight, with my tablet and possibly beer. Why not draw some goddamn cars?
The rules are the same as always: must be a new idea, not an existing model. I love hearing what you jokers come up with. I'll promise one finished one tonight, two if I can make it that long before passing out.

Cross an F-Type with the 250 GTO! Like what if Jaguar made the F-type as the halo car at the same time they made the E-type...

Okay, what about a 21st century mid-engined GM runabout, called the Monza?
![]() 11/10/2014 at 18:03 |

Modern take on a lightweight, cheap, fun, off-road runner, a la Baja Beetle.
Would be cool if it was also an amphicar...
![]() 11/10/2014 at 18:19 |

Or better yet, an ST diesel with an RX8 so it can be a RWD diesel rotary hatchback!

Now it's time to see whether the booze or the pen works faster. just got back to the hotel and fired up the old tablet.

Front-engined, twin-turbine powered car with a 1+2 configuration. Of important note is that exhaust gases are much hotter with turbines, so that's going to take a little creativity to resolve.:)
![]() 11/10/2014 at 23:15 |
|
must the engines be up front?
![]() 11/10/2014 at 23:26 |
|
The impetus for choosing front was that rear-mid has already been done before with the Jaguar CX-75 concept. So has front, but that was 50 years ago and car styling has changed considerably.
1+2 was me trying to make it really interesting, but honestly a 2 or 2+2 configuration would probably look better. :p
![]() 11/10/2014 at 23:32 |
|
so a CX-75 crossed with McLaren F1 seating....
![]() 11/10/2014 at 23:59 |
|
If you want to make it mid-rear, sure!
![]() 11/11/2014 at 00:02 |
|
It's the only reasonable layout.
![]() 11/11/2014 at 00:25 |
|
I can definitely see it being the only reasonable layout as a 1+2. There'd just be too much mass up front in an FR car to make that single front seat anything but unwieldy.

umm, this is badass!! did you do any other views of it?
